Our slate coasters are 100 percent natural slate stone. They can be cleaned with a damp cloth or soap and water. They can be customized in a number of ways. You can draw on them using a chalk marker, fine tips to get the best results. Chalk can be washed off after it dries. You can also use a laser engraver to create custom coasters for friends, family, or for resale. To add a glossy look and feel and to help maintain your custom coaster you can add a thin layer of Mod Podge Clear Acrylic Sealer to waterproof your slate coaster.
